Tried and true, these Texas Mesquite wood spatulas are a great companion to your cast iron skillets and all your pots and pans - even those non-stick surfaces, too.
Mesquite wood is one of the hardest and strongest woods around (more than twice as hard as walnut!). It will make quick work of any stubborn bits stuck to your pan. Yet, it still isn’t hard enough to damage you delicate cookware.
It's also the perfect partner for your next trip as it takes up less space than a metal spatula! This wooden cooking tool is one that you will pass down through your family for generations to come.
Everyone should own a piece of Texas!
The listing price is for one spatula.
Finished with Coconut Oil
100% Pure Coconut Derived Oil. I use a very high quality coconut oil made through a refinement process that does not use solvents. This is a food safe oil.
Made from Mesquite wood native to Texas, these hand-made spatulas will be sure to brighten up your next cooking adventure either in the kitchen or your next camping trip.

While mesquite can take abuse, neglect, and will be more durable than a normal wood spatula, please follow this care guide to ensure it lasts decades.
Care Guide:
-Do not leave soaking in water.
-Wipe clean with mild detergent and water.
-Occasionally wipe with food grade oil of choice (mineral oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, etc…).

A quote from above: “In the late 1800s, citizens of San Antonio paved the streets leading to their Texas shrine, the Alamo, with mesquite slabs. In testament to mesquite’s durability, remnants of the wood still surface from the activity of street maintenance.”

Not only are these natural cooking utensils but the quality craftsmanship of the spatulas does not disappoint! Each spatula has its own unique beauty in the woodgrains of the smoothed mesquite wood. These definitely make wonderful gifts and are already nicely packaged. I'm very happy with my purchase and highly recommend.
